Purchase 30 shares BMW

Today I purchased 30 shares BMW at a price of €71,75. I already had BMW for some time on my watchlist and I decided to buy 30 shares today. This also because the stocks are trading around a 52 week low. Due to the effect of trade war tariffs and exchange rates BMW is expecting pressure on their profitability.

As a result of the selloff on the stock exchanges this week I consider it a good moment to pick up a few BMW shares for the long term.

As a result of this purchase I add €120 to my yearly estimated dividend income. The current dividend per share is €4 so the current yield is 5,57%.

Purchase 5 shares Macquarie Infrastructure Company

I forgot to add one purchase to my November report, because I had it planned for December. I executed this trade early, because of price drop of Macquary Infrastructure Company at the end of November.

I purchased 5 shares Macquarie Infrastructure Company at a price of $39,29 to reinvest the dividends I received this year. Macquarie Infrastructure Company is paying a dividend of $1 per quarter. As a result the yield is 10,2%. My yearly dividend will increase with $20 due to the purchase of these shares.

Due to the purchase of these 5 shares the total number of Macquarie Infrastructure shares I own is now 47.

November Dividend Report 2018

Monthly Report November:

In November I received €155,54 in dividend payments. Previous year in November I received €40,74 so my dividend income is up 282%.

Besides my monthly deposit to my stock account I also repayed €500 extra towards my mortgage principal. As I only pay 1,99% interest this will not result in a big interest saving next year, but I enjoy the feeling that I won’t have a mortgage anymore within a few years.

This month I received payments from 7 companies. Macquarie Infrastructure Company, Omega Healthcare, AbbVie and Simon Property Group are responisble for over 80% of my dividend income this month.

This month the share prices were down a lot due to trade war fears. My China-Tech related exposure increased by purchasing Alibaba and Tencent. Also I bought 112 shares Royal Dutch Shell at the end of the month, because Royal Dutch is down over 10% since its top and I consider the dividend yield of 5,6% a decent level to buy.

Only one more month and another year has finished. I expect to realise all targets set for 2018. In the first weeks of December I will set my targets for next year.

Dividend Income – €155,54:

– Macquarie Infrastructure Company €37,03
– Omega Healthcare €30,93
– AbbVie €29,62
– Simon Property Group €28,27
– Royal Bank of Canada €13,70
– EPR Properties €9,52
– Apple €6,42

Purchase of 8 shares Berkshire Hathaway B

berkshire hathaway b logo

Today I purchased 8 shares of Berkshire Hathaway at $211,29 per share. I was reading about the stock investment of Berkshire Hathaway and noticed that many of the investments are done in bank stocks. In the last quarter positions in 6 banks were initiated or increased.

Due to the investment of Berkshire I decided to do research on the bank stocks Berkshire is owning. This so I can pick 1 or 2 banks to invest in. While doing research I decided to buy shares of Berkshire instead.

This purchase is adding nothing to my yearly estimated dividend income, because Berkshire is not paying a dividend. On the otherhand I like owning this stock based on their history.

LVMH Interim Dividend Increased With 25%

The Interim dividend of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy which is payable in December is up 25%. LVMH increased the interim dividend from €1,60 to €2,00.

As a result of the dividend increase my yearly estimated dividend income will increase with €1,60. Yield on cost of my LVMH shares is 2,58%.
